Shout Out: Joanne Up North

I’m speaking this week about Justice at the School of Biblical Worldview in Blackfalds, Alberta.  Among the topics discussed, we broached yesterday on the subject of identity.  Who is it that we are at the bottom of it all, when you take everything else out of the bucket?  A foundational and sensational question to be sure.  My suspicion is that when we scratch at the skin of the Justice question, there’s a lot that collects under the nail.  To live justly and to love mercy, we must do justice to ourselves by being the people we are created to be.

My friend Joanne, who I connected with at a recent artist gathering in Colorado, had a really elegant way of putting the Identity Q.  Check out her blog, Northern Exposure,  and read her thoughts about Who We Are in her fine post “Un Cadeau.”
