tinkering

I’m making a few changes to my website; you may have taken note if you stop by here every once in awhile.

I wanted to start focusing more on content, and so I’ve arranged things to reflect that; I hope to write with more focus on things to do with faith and justice, the poetic, and to feature more prominently people I meet and co-creators who I want to learn more about and from.

I’m trying to tweak my relationship to social networking, and think I’m leaning more toward Facebook and Twitter as being the way I make announcements and more generic updates, with the hopes of dedicating my website to feature my writing and to concentrate on writing articles that are a bit meatier.

But it’s all a work in progress.  Figuring out your web-identity a similar evolution to your personal one, no?

Would love to know what you think about the changes, and if you have any suggestions.

This is what I used to look like online:

This is also my journey this week…grappling with millions of technological abilities and their usefulness (and also their life-suckingness) in helping me do the things that are close to my heart. I’m glad you’re taking time to reorganize – it’s good to be intentional about why we do what we do and how we do it. So far so good on your reformatting! I’ll let you know if I’m totally offended or put off by any of the changes… :)
