Duffy is not a journalist. He is no different from a wrestling referee who works with the combatants to fix the result. Good for May for call him on it. Its been 24 years since I lived and worked in Ottawa but I still have the vivid image of Duffy, sitting in the Parliamentary cafeteria pushing so many donuts into his mouth that the cream spurted out across his face. I still call him the Pilsbury Dough Boy and break out laughing at him. Insiders call him Duff. Its not an affectionate nickname. As a long time Navy man, we have a slang expression for after dinnner dessert when its full of sugar and flour - its called Duff!
