here, in kona

i made it.  and the weekend was amazing, by the way.

dan and christy’s wedding was incredible.  perhaps one of the most beautiful days of the summer.  it was an ecclectic mix of great people.  friends and family (on both sides) from all over.  and there were signs and wonders in the heavens, too.  perhaps an indication of divine blessing: a clear day with an incredible view of the mountains,  sunshine,  a powerful wind during the reception,  a drastic rainbow in the sky.  and when it was dark, falling stars and the northern lights.

i got a few hours of sleep (2?) and hopped onto a plane.  i made it safely to kona, and am starting to get to know the class from photogenX track.  they’ve been traveling the world in the last 12 months, taking photographs.  they’re working on a publication as a school.  and i’m helping them out.  we’re discovering what’s in store together.  it’s exciting to talk about and call out creativity.  they’re a great group.

it’s nice to be back on the island.  my last experience here was so impacting, memorable.  i feel peace here, and invited to minister and be.  if i locate myself in time right now it seems a period of transition and expectation.

i open my hands. trust.  say,

yes.
