Did you hear what Gilles Duceppe and Pat Martin said in the House of Commons about a non-partisan meeting of MPs at an Opus Dei luncheon on Parliament? Talk about the “Creeps” – This is quite a video!  Props to Father Fred Dolan for his grace and composure, and Levant for his verve and punch.

Conservative columnist Ezra Levant , who is Jewish, has slammed a growing trend of overt anti-Christian bigotry expressed by some elected members of Canada’s parliament.

Following a lunch arranged last week by Conservative Member of Parliament for Regina-Qu’Appelle Andrew Scheer for some of his colleagues to meet Msgr. Frederick Dolan, vicar of the Catholic lay organization Opus Dei in Canada,  some MPs publicly expressed objections to a representative of a Catholic group meeting with other MPs in the Parliamentary restaurant.

UPDATE:

A lot of people (myself included) have been looking for the full exchange between McKay, Duffy, and May.  Mckay’s statement, however is cut. (Thanks Abandoned Stuff for the heads up.)

Did anyone else catch May’s blow-up on CTV last night after the Antigonish debate?  I happened to turn on the TV just as Duffy was finishing an interview with Peter McKay.  She was pretty angry, but I missed the context.
