I’m thrilled to share with you the news that the partner project we started with A Better World Canada to support the Home of New Beginnings in Thailand has entered Phase 2!

The She Has A Name project was inspired by the Canadian Tour of my play of the same name and will assist the Home of New Beginnings in Bangkok, Thailand.

Our friends at A Better World – Canada have already raised $11,000 of the $15,000 goal, which will provide food for the Home of New Beginnings (Beginnings Foundation) in #Thailand for an entire year!

To reach the goal, they’re hosting a benefit concert this weekend at Fratters Speakeasy Venue on Sunday, May 15 from 8 – 10 p.m.

You can learn more about the benefit concert on the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/775094852590308/

About Home of New Beginnings: Established in February 2006, Beginnings is a holistic relational outreach that seeks to address the spiritual, emotional, physical and educational needs of women and children who desire to leave the sex trade or have been trafficked. Its focus is creating family and education. Beginnings creates a healing environment through counsel, education, life skills, parenting skills, and spiritual well-being so that those leaving Beginnings can become contributing, healthy, financially sustainable members of society.
